The international property manager MVGM announced today that Thomas Schwarzenbacher (52) will be welcomed on May 1, 2020 as managing director and CEO of MVGM in Germany. Thomas Schwarzenbacher will complement and lead the existing management team with Andreas Flechtner and Thorsten Czoske, who work closely with Menno van der Horst, Member of the Board and Managing Director of the MVGM Group in Germany.
MVGM has grown significantly in recent years and is currently a company with representatives in 10 countries across Europe that is focused on property management. The German team of MVGM and PropertyFirst consists of 260 employees who manage 10 MVGM locations and 6 locations in shopping centers for more than 100 customers, 750 real estate objects and almost 7 million square meters of real estate in Germany.
Thomas Schwarzenbacher will be responsible for the further development of the operational business of property management activities in Germany and will be responsible for the development of the residential business area in particular.
MVGM Property Management Germany will continue to grow. In addition to organic growth, further acquisitions are expected to follow. In the course of this year, PropertyFirst GmbH will be integrated into MVGM Property Management Deutschland GmbH.
In the coming period, MVGM will also concentrate on the further development in the IT area. Both in the area of various property management core systems and in innovative solutions such as asset management dashboarding and predictive analysis via the subsidiary Watson + Holmes.
Thomas Schwarzenbacher was most recently managing director of LEG Immobilien AG. Before joining LEG, Thomas Schwarzenbacher worked for 10 years as managing director in various operational areas at the Deutsche Annington Group, today Vonovia.
